Every certificate behind this catalogue is published in full, per lot, exactly as the laboratory issued it. This page explains what those certificates measure — and, just as plainly, what they do not.

What a certificate measures

Assay one

Purity, by HPLC

The sample is separated by high-performance liquid chromatography and the peptide peak is measured against everything else that came off the column. The figure on the certificate is the share of the material that is the peptide itself.

The method is printed on every report. Across the lots on file it is HPLC-UV or HPLC-MS; where MS detection was used it is part of the purity measurement, not a separate identity test. The chromatogram is published alongside the number so the peak can be read rather than taken on trust.

Assay two

Content and fill accuracy

Purity says what fraction of the powder is peptide. It says nothing about how much powder is in the vial — a 99.9% pure vial can still be half empty. So the certificate also records the total content measured in the vial against the expected content printed on the label, and states the two as a fill accuracy percentage.

A vial labelled 10 mg that measures 10.85 mg is 108.5% of label claim. Both the measured mass and the percentage are published as measured, for every lot, whichever way they fall.

What these certificates do not cover

Peptide storefronts routinely list assays their paperwork never contained. The certificates on file here do not carry any of the following, and nothing on this site should be read as claiming them:

Identity confirmation by mass spectrometry. Some lots record HPLC-MS as the purity method — that is MS used as a detector during the purity run. No separate identity certificate is issued.
Water content by Karl Fischer titration.
Bacterial endotoxin.
Residual acetate or other counter-ions.
Sterility.

A shorter certificate that is true is worth more than a longer one that is not. If a product has no report on file yet, no report is shown — another lot's certificate is never substituted for it.

The laboratory

Testing is contracted out to Testides, an independent analytical laboratory. We do not run these assays ourselves, and the PDF published against each lot is the document the lab issued — not a summary retyped by us.

Each certificate names the issuing laboratory, its report number, and the dates the sample was received, tested and reported. Those four fields are what make a certificate checkable at all, so they are shown on every report view rather than being summarised away.
