Track an Order
Every order ships tracked. This page explains when the tracking number is issued, where to look it up, and what to do when a parcel stalls, goes missing or arrives damaged.
When tracking is issued
- Orders placed before 2PM ET on a business day are dispatched the same business day from Ontario. Orders placed after the cut-off, at a weekend, or on a holiday go out on the next business day.
- The tracking number is emailed to the address on the order as soon as the shipping label is created.
- Delivery is tracked through Canada Post and typically takes 1–3 business days.
- Packaging is discreet and no signature is required on delivery.
A new tracking number often shows nothing but “label created” for a while. That is normal: the number is generated when the label is printed, and the carrier’s system only starts reporting movement after the parcel is physically scanned into their network. Give it until the end of the next business day before treating it as a problem.
Look up an order
Enter the order number from your confirmation email, together with the billing email address used on the order.
If you placed the order while logged in, every order and its tracking is also listed under your account orders. Guest orders are looked up with the form above — no account is needed.
If a parcel is delayed
Check the tracking first. Delivery estimates come from the carrier and are not guaranteed; parcels are commonly held up by weather, carrier backlogs, high seasonal volume and regional service disruptions, none of which are visible from our end before they show on the tracking record.
Email info@precisionlabsresearch.ca if any of the following is true:
- Tracking has not progressed for several business days.
- Tracking shows the parcel as delivered but nothing has arrived.
- The parcel has been returned to sender.
Include the order number, the tracking number, and the delivery address as it was entered at checkout. The address matters: a parcel returned because the address was incorrect or incomplete is reshipped at the customer’s cost, so it is worth confirming what was actually submitted before assuming the carrier lost it.
If a parcel is lost
If a parcel is lost in transit we reship it at our cost. Send the order number and the tracking number, and say what the tracking record last showed.
There is no published waiting period after which a parcel is automatically treated as lost — each case is opened with the carrier individually. Open the case as soon as tracking stops progressing rather than waiting for a threshold that does not exist.
If a parcel arrives damaged
Damage and defect claims have a hard deadline: they must be reported within 72 hours of delivery. Email info@precisionlabsresearch.ca with:
- Your order number.
- Clear photographs of the product and its packaging.
- Photographs of the shipping box.
- A description of the issue, and the lot code from the affected vial.
Claims without enough documentation may be declined. If a vial itself looks compromised rather than the box, Storage & Handling describes what to look for and what to photograph. The full terms are on the Refund and Returns Policy page.
Changing or cancelling an order
Orders enter processing as soon as payment is accepted, and cannot be cancelled, modified or refunded after that point. If something on an order is wrong — an address, a quantity, a variant — email immediately and expect that it may already be packed. It is faster to correct an address before the label is created than to recover a parcel afterwards.
